Skewed Rhombic Plates Analysis for Bending and Deflection Using Simple Elastic Strip Method

چکیده

A simple technique, based on the recently developed elastic strip analysis (ESA)[1] of bi-harmonic equation for moments and deflections simply supported rectangular plates from finite series expression suggested valid displacement function method, is applied to skewed rhombic plates. The formulation uses a characterization load area contributed by shorter diagonal longer obtain fractions in four strips represented plate equation. maximum minimum principal bending together with deflection at centre are obtained almost immediately striking results. Skewed any skew angles horizontal can be handled this method. Numerical examples presented results compared available ones literature since 1959.
